The Sri Lanka Automobile Association in Japan (SLAAJ) successfully held its Annual General Meeting on December 7, 2024, at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Tokyo.

The meeting was attended by key members of the Sri Lankan business community in Japan and representatives from related industries. During the session, important discussions were held regarding the association’s future direction, industry challenges, and upcoming initiatives to strengthen collaboration among members.

A notable highlight of the event was the appointment of Mr. Saman Priyankara, President of Sayuri International Co., Ltd., as a Senior Advisor to SLAAJ. His vast experience in international trade and longstanding contributions to the Sri Lankan business diaspora in Japan are expected to bring valuable insights and strategic guidance to the association.
