We are proud to announce the successful completion of the 2024 Short-Term Internship Program conducted at Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort, in collaboration with the University of Colombo under the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023.
A total of 101 Ayurveda medical students participated in this hands-on training program, gaining valuable practical experience in authentic Ayurveda treatments and holistic wellness practices. The program aimed to deepen their understanding of wellness tourism and enhance their clinical knowledge in a real-world environment.
The Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on February 6, 2025, at the College House Senate Hall, University of Colombo, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries including:

The event was further elevated by the graceful presentation of renowned television personality Mr. Kamal Kariyawasam, adding a touch of elegance and warmth to the occasion.
Mr. Saman Priyankara, President of Sayuri International and Chairman of Karunakarala Group, also attended the event and extended his congratulations to the students, reaffirming the group’s dedication to supporting Ayurveda education and youth development.
