10th Annual Sri Lanka Festival in Japan was held last weekend 21st,22nd Sep at Yoyoki Park in Tokyo. Sri Lanka embassy in Japan organised the festival together with Sri Lankan business community and various other Sri Lankan organizations in Japan.
The event attracted several thousands of Japanese and Sri Lankans living through out Japan. It was an wonderful opportunity for Japanese people to taste Sri Lankan food, to have a glace at Sri Lankan culture, to know about tourist attractions in Sri Lanka.
Stage of the Yooygi Park was illuminated with spectacular dance and music performaces of popular Sri Lankan artists, on both days.
